How to market your Base44 app and find the right customers

First decide whether you are introducing an internal tool or selling a product to new customers. Both can be built with Base44, but they need different messages, access arrangements and measures of success.
An internal approval tool may succeed when a known team adopts it. A public product needs an understandable offer and a way for unfamiliar visitors to evaluate it. Marketing should reflect that difference.
Define who needs the app
Describe the existing task and the person responsible for it. Identify whether the buyer and daily user are the same person. A manager may approve a purchase while a colleague experiences the workflow every day.
Use that distinction to choose the demonstration. Show the daily user the task becoming clearer; give the buyer concrete information about scope, process and support. Avoid promising capabilities you have not implemented.
Separate access from presentation
Base44's documentation includes “Connecting a domain to your app”. Follow its current domain instructions if you choose to use a custom address. A domain is a presentation and hosting decision, not proof of customer demand.
Check the public experience separately from private operational data. Do not open a production dashboard to the internet merely to show it in a promo. For a private app, prepare a purpose-built demo with fictional information.
Match the offer to the audience
| Situation | Useful first offer | Useful evidence |
|---|---|---|
| Internal team tool | A guided trial with the team | One real task and user feedback |
| Service packaged around an app | A clearly scoped pilot | What the customer receives and who does the work |
| Public software product | A usable trial or demo | A clear explanation and a working next step |
These are suggested approaches, not product features supplied automatically by Base44. You still need to configure and verify your own experience.
Create a demonstration with one point
Choose a task, show its input and result, and explain the benefit. Avoid spending the whole video describing how you built it. The audience needs to understand what changes for them.
For the launch introduction, Teasr lets you use the public app or landing page to make a short branded promo without learning a video editor. It does not log into private Base44 screens. Use the Base44 launch-video guide for that asset and the private-app guide for recorded workflows.
Look for commitments, not just interest
Ask the intended users to try a meaningful task. Record whether they complete it and want to repeat it. A compliment about the app builder is different from willingness to adopt the product.
