How to make a launch video for your Base44 app
You built the app quickly with Base44, and the launch post deserves a video. Here's the fastest way to make one, using nothing but the address your app is already published on.
1. Find your app's public address
Every Base44 app is live on a free base44.app address, like your-app.base44.app, from the moment you create it, and you can rename it or connect your own domain on the paid plans (Base44 Docs). Any public address works, the default one or your own domain. Teasr doesn't need access to your Base44 project or your code, only the page visitors see.
2. Make the video
Paste the address into Teasr, pick a length and add a note if you want it to focus on something. Teasr reads the page for your app's colours, fonts, screens and copy, and makes a motion video with music in about 10 minutes, from €39.
Base44 apps are often internal tools or dashboards. A short note helps a lot, for example "show how a manager approves a request in two clicks".
3. Pick the right length
Keep it short. Wistia found videos under a minute average a 52% engagement rate (Wistia). Use 30 seconds for the launch post and a 15-second cut for social, which you can ask Teasr for from the same design.
4. Post it
- X, LinkedIn and Threads: upload the MP4 directly so it plays in the feed.
- Product Hunt: upload it to YouTube first, because Product Hunt only accepts YouTube links for videos (Product Hunt Help Center). There's a full guide to Product Hunt launch videos.
- Your app's landing page: a short loop at the top shows visitors what the app does before they read anything.
Teasr is independent and not affiliated with Base44. It works with apps from any builder.
