Your pieces in motion, made from the website you already have.
Handmade work is hard to sell from a single photo. The glaze changes in the light, the shapes stack, and no two pieces are quite the same. Teasr takes the photos and words on your website and turns them into a short motion video with music, so a new collection, a kiln opening or a workshop date gets noticed.
Make my video, from €19.50Made with Teasr
tonikeramik.de, a ceramics workshop and pottery studio in Germany. A 15-second video made from their website, in German: "Von Hand glasiert. Jedes Stück ein Unikat. Für den Alltag gemacht." (Glazed by hand. Every piece one of a kind. Made for everyday use.)
What a ceramics video should show
- Several pieces side by side. One cup on its own looks like a product shot. Five cups in different glazes show that every piece is different, which is the point of handmade work.
- The words that explain the work. Glazed by hand, fired in small batches, made to be used every day. Keep the lines short and put them on screen one at a time.
- Your name at the end. Close on your studio name and address so people can find the shop, or book a course.
Tips that matter for handmade work
- Photograph pieces on a plain background in the same light. The video looks calmer and the glazes do the talking. toni Keramik's video works because every piece sits on the same warm beige.
- If you run classes as well as sell, make two videos: one from the shop page, one from the workshop page. Each will say one thing clearly.
- Each piece is unique, so don't let a video suggest a customer will get the exact cup they saw. If your site says "every piece varies slightly", keep that line in.
- Before a market or an open studio day, a 15-second video on Instagram tells people what to look for when they arrive.

Questions
- My photos are of real, one-of-a-kind pieces. Will the video change them?
- No. Teasr uses your photos as they are, and animates around them with movement, text and music. It doesn't redraw your pieces.
- I sell on my own site and at markets. Which page should I use?
- The page that best shows the pieces you want to sell next. For a new collection, that's usually the collection page in your shop.
- Can I get the video in German, or in English?
- The video follows the language of the page you paste. If your site has both, make one from each.
- Do I need any video skills?
- No. You paste your website, pick a length, and get a finished video in about 10 minutes. If something's off, describe the change in plain words.
- How much does it cost?
- From €19.50 for a 15-second video. Your first change to a video is free, and later changes are €4.50 each. If it still misses, we redo it with your notes. Making videos every month? Studio is €49 a month for three videos of any length, with changes included.
- How long does it take?
- Usually about 10 minutes from paying to a finished video. You'll get an email when it's ready.
Your website already has everything the video needs.
